Due to the flooding in Ottawa and Gatineau, the competition is on hold until the situation gets back to normal. Stay tuned for when we announce the new date and lend a hand to those affected by the high water levels.

Surf the Greats and River Surf Ottawa Gatineau present the inaugural ‘RIVER RUNOFF’ Freshwater Surf Competition! We are so lucky in Ottawa-Gatineau to have a body of water that brings us together. We are welcoming everyone to come down to the river and join us for this community event. Whether you choose to surf or watch and cheer from the sidelines — we can guarantee an unforgettable event with indelible stoke. Our sponsors will be on site with lots of swag and amazing prizes.

À Ottawa-Gatineau, nous avons beaucoup de chance d'avoir un plan d'eau qui nous rassemble. Nous invitons tout le monde à descendre à la rivière et à nous rejoindre pour cet événement communautaire. Que vous choisissiez de surfer ou de regarder et d’acclamer vos émotions — nous pouvons vous garantir un événement inoubliable avec une frappe indélébile.
